It soon became apparent that there was a demand for manufacturers to access the database at source to match their products to the core data electronically. TyreFit released to the market. This electronic version of printed fitment guide meant that the data was constantly being updated and the business focus shifted towards e-commerce. |2011||EC1222.com – new tire labelling regulations coming into effect within the EU result in EC1222.com being formed to help meet the requirements of businesses wanting to link tire labels to product lists and produce labels at point of sale, in anticipation of the legal requirements. TyreSafe is one of the UK’s leading tire safety organisations, dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers associated with defective or illegal tires. It was established in 2006 as a not for profit organisation and campaigns in line with current legislation and duty of care regulations.
After working with Tyresafe in the UK to build a consumer-facing tire pressure mobile app, DriveRight became a member of TyreSafe in the interests of contributing to tire safety in the UK.
The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events and networking opportunities. The SEMA Show draws more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers.
DriveRight saw the value of the SEMA shows, to keep abreast of the latest model releases and meet with the international clients. DriveRight joined the SEMA Wheel and Tire Council to contribute to the efforts of countering global warming.
EECA works to implement New Zealand Government strategies for energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy in both the private and public sectors.
DriveRight worked with EECA to produce a tire pressure application, educating consumers of the benefits of maintaining correct pressures in regards to safety and fuel efficiency.
DriveRight and Lipko have entered into a partnership as they have seen the benefit in providing and selling each other’s data to clients to fill gaps in each respective portfolio. As a result, with enriched datasets, both companies now reach broader groups of customers they wouldn´t previously have dealt with as they would have interacted independently of each other.
