- DriveRight is offering its data and services as cloud-based solutions
- Improved scalability and reliability
- Basis for an expansion of DriveRight services
Berlin/Cardiff, February 18, 2015 – The DriveRight group has migrated to the cloud platform to future proof services: The leading independent provider of international wheel and tyre data can now offer services for tyre, wheels and vehicle data as a cloud based solution. Within the past six months DriveRight has gradually transferred its IT infrastructure to the cloud. It started with database and application services for customer solutions, then in further steps, moved internal and external solutions. The migration is now complete and all new services of DriveRight will be developed for this technology. The technological basis for the new infrastructure is Microsoft’s Azure cloud solution. The goal of cloud-based services is to provide solutions that are flexible, readily available and scalable. It will ensure that DriveRight’s services will be available to customers at the highest rate of reliability, 24/7.
“With the new virtual infrastructure, we’re providing a robust and available supply to make sure our customers continue to have the security of using our services at any time,” said Sacha Hold, DriveRight’s CMO and Managing Director of DriveRight Germany. “It provides a reliable basis for further expansion of our services in the years to come and the continued growth of our customer and user base. With this new solution, we are able to provide aspects of services that we were unable to previously.”
